How we get things done

  • Strong Community Relationships

We foster strong and beneficial community relationships that lead to more opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals. This includes an emphasis on programmatic partnerships, corporate sponsorships, and individual contributions from supporters of the movement.

  • Nonstop Local Advocacy

Our collective stories challenge the realities of our justice system and the impact of wrongful convictions on families and communities. We continue to work with legal institutions to advocate for changes to the incarceration industrial complex.

  • Outreach & Engagement

Connecting formerly incarcerated individuals to community resources and increasing awareness about the causes of recidivism requires constant community outreach and engagement. We coordinate meaningful events in the local community the bring people together, highlight changes that need to be made, and provide a safe space for interested parties to get involved.

  • Multi-Faceted Individual Support

At the heart of everything we do is connecting formerly incarcerated individuals with a support system that helps them feel empowered and prepared to start over after release. Our approach targets essential needs like housing/food insecurity, technology reintegration, employment services, and physical/mental health services.
